POSITION OVERVIEW

We offer a $2,000 Sign-on bonus ($1,000 – sign-on bonus, $1,000 – after trial period) to the specialist that will accept our offer and join DataArt in this position. We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend (Python) Developer with AWS skills.

 

TECHNOLOGY STACK

Python, AWS microservices environment, AWS Lambdas, Terraform.

 

Responsibilities

• Develop new products and features using leading-edge technology
• Work closely with a QA team to ensure the operation and correctness of new product features
• Provide technical input and knowledge to your Scrum team for the planning, design, and requirements process for new products and features
• Collaborate with other engineers to review code and participate in issues troubleshooting
• Drive architecture for complex products by determining current limitations and coming up with creative solutions
• Improve the performance, maintainability, and operations of the codebase

 

Requirements

• 4+ years of Python programming experience
• Strong expertise in using modern Python frameworks, specifically Flask
• Experience with AWS (DynamoDB, Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, S3, SQS, Cloudwatch, Kinesis)
• Experience with Terraform and Terragrunt
• Skills in building RESTful APIs in Python
• Skills working with MySQL and NoSQL
• Experience in using Docker and OracleDB
• Experience in using Git
• Experience in API design
• Experience in building scalable systems

 

Nice to have

• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins)
• Experience in the Agile methodology (SCRUM)
